Associate Scientist I

Job Summary:

This function is responsible for working with a team that provides non-GMP solution preparation services to the departments’ customers. They are also responsible for providing these same services, including the preparation of biological solutions, microbiological growth media, cell culture media, and providing technical assistance to all ongoing projects. The Supervisor ensures that the site provides a high quality and efficient service and is directly responsible for the technical personnel who support this function, including their training and development. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Provides on demand non GMP production of standard and custom buffer and media solutions, following established procedures to ensure consistent production of solutions. 

2. Assists in the development of solution formulations and is responsible for communicating new or updated procedures to team members.

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry.
