Job Description

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Talent Management and Succession Planning Framework (TMSP)

Lead team in collaborations with, influencing decisions and synergizing efforts on TMSP across various levels of the system. These may include institutions, NHG senior management (CEOs and above), MOH/H and cross-cluster stakeholders. This may include (but not limited to):

  1. Conceptualize, review and enhance TMSP framework, policy and strategies.
  2. Harnessing collective leadership to strengthen NHG TMSP through driving sharing and strategizing of TMSP across stakeholders and platforms.
  3. Drive transformation of TMSP delivery and processes through leveraging digitalization (including developing TMSP module in new HR system)
  4. NHG rep in other MOH / MOHH talent initiatives e.g. MOHH’s Healthcare 360

TMSP Operational Cycles

Oversee, drive and enhance the delivery of TMSP operational activities, including guiding team on:

  1. Talent Review and Succession Planning with CEOs
  2. Annual Hipo nomination
  3. Leadership Programmes Nominations
  4. MOH/H initiatives, including Cluster Talent Rotations to MOH; Special Projects for AHP; Healthcare Family Fellowship Programme; and
  5. Any other ad hoc talent initiatives

Leadership & Organisational Development

  1. Institution (HQ) trainer for Collective Leadership Conversations
  2. Partner with HQ teams / departments on a needs basis, on ad hoc applications of L&OD concepts and tools (e.g. HQ roll-out of core values)
  3. Part of NHG and MOHH L&OD COP network for sharing of best practices

Other Areas

  1. Contribute in Group level workgroups/projects where TMSP expertise is required e.g. talent management committees, HR transformation efforts etc.
  2. Contribute in other ad-hoc HR projects and activities at the Group HR level as required

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline – a Postgraduate qualification in a related discipline will be an advantage
  2. At least 8 - 10 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 3 years are gained through a managerial positionStrong people management and interpersonal skills
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  4. An analytical, resourceful, results-focused, innovative, and meticulous individual
  5. A strong sense of confidentiality and discretion
  6. An eye for details and
  7. Strong stakeholder management skills at the C-suite level
