We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with a mechanical engineering background to support and develop our Photon Counting Detector production. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of assembly-based production and mechanical engineering, with the ability to translate development needs into improved processes and design changes. In this role, you will take ownership of assembly-related production equipment, ensuring robust operation and effective tool development. Responsibilities also include making minor mechanical design changes to products using a CAD system and maintaining production instructions by keeping content up to date and implementing changes to assembly instructions.
Job Description
Your role
• Support and develop production processes.
• Own and develop assembly related production tools.
• Engineer minor mechanical changes to final products.
• Maintaining and training process instructions for production operators.
• Close co-operation with both R&D and production.
• Other manufacturing engineering related tasks.
Experience that will enable your success
• Production support and development experience.
• BSc or MSc education in mechanical engineering or relevant experience.
• CAD Experience, Solidworks experience is an asset.
• Experience about working under ISO9001 or ISO13485 quality management system.
• Well-organized, able to manage multiple tasks, calm under pressure.
• Good communication and documentation skills in both English, Finnish is a plus.
• Understanding about manufacturability.
• Hands-on attitude, ability to work independently.
Additional useful skills
• Change management experience.
• Process verification and validation experience.

The position is permanent, located in Espoo Finland, and employment can start immediately, or as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
