What You’ll Do:
- Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs focused on facilities carpentry, including doors, locks, thresholds, furniture, and minor structural fixes
- Perform building upkeep tasks such as ceiling tile replacement, carpet/tile repairs, wall patching and painting, and safety equipment upgrades
- Execute basic plumbing work (e.g., clearing drains, fixture replacement, servicing flushometers, maintaining restroom equipment)
- Follow written work orders, sketches, and verbal instructions while adhering to building codes and safety standards
- Escort third-party vendors in controlled areas and ensure compliance with site protocols
- Support office/lab setups, furniture moves, event preparation, and interplant deliveries of inventory and supplies
What You Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic carpentry and plumbing skills preferred
- Familiarity and comfort working with hand tools
- Ability to follow direction from Facilities Managers, Supervisors, and Senior Tradespeople
- Strong attention to safety procedures and building code compliance
- Willingness to perform physically active tasks in a facilities and maintenance environment
- US citizenship due to access restrictions

Salary Range:
$44,500.00-$59,300.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
