The SAP Academy for Services & Consulting is a global development program designed for talent who are early in their careers.
Who You'll Become
As an Industry Transformation Advisor, you will develop into a trusted transformation professional who helps customers realize measurable business value from their SAP investments.
Through progressive responsibility, coaching, and hands-on experience, you will learn how to:
- Build foundational consulting, enterprise architecture, and value management skills.
- Support strategic transformation initiatives across the customer lifecycle.
- Grow from contributor to leading workstreams and supporting executive engagements.
- Gain exposure to governance, roadmapping, adoption strategy, and innovation in enterprise environments.
What You'll Do
As part of the SAP Academy for Services & Consulting, an Industry Transformation Advisor will support customers across three core dimensions of transformation:
1. Strategic Guidance
- Prepare executive-ready materials (roadmaps, governance updates, value scorecards).
- Document business objectives, KPIs, and milestones.
- Contribute to discovery workshops and translate requirements into structured transformation plans.
2. Value Realization
- Track KPIs and support value scorecards and health assessments.
- Contribute to business cases, benchmarking, and CCOE/adoption initiatives.
- Support innovation and AI-enabled transformation use cases.
3. Transformation Coordination
- Align customer, SAP, and partner stakeholders on milestones and deliverables.
- Track roadmaps, risks, and escalations.
- Provide research, analysis, and support for SAP transformation tools and frameworks.
Expectations and Tasks
- Deliver assigned tasks on time with high quality and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate strong preparation and analytical rigor in customer engagements.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Structure ambiguous problems into actionable insights.
- Support transformation governance forums with accurate reporting and documentation.
- Continuously build knowledge of SAP solutions, enterprise architecture concepts, and value management frameworks.
- Demonstrate curiosity and initiative in learning new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required (Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred); SAP coursework or certification is a plus.
- 1–3 years of experience in consulting, technology, business analysis, or enterprise software environments.
Technical & Business Skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into structured solution designs with clear integration points.
- Foundational knowledge of SAP solutions (e.g., S/4HANA, BTP), enterprise landscapes, and full lifecycle implementations.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred.
- Familiarity with integration concepts, APIs, data management, and security fundamentals (e.g., SSO, authorizations).
- Experience with a programming or scripting language such as ABAP, Python, JavaScript, or SQL preferred.

About the SAP Next Gen Academy for Services & Consulting
The Academy partners with SAP Customer Engagement & Adoption to support customers throughout their digital transformation journeys, driving adoption and effective use of SAP software through planning, implementation, integration, and continuous improvement.
The 12-month SAP Next Gen Academy for Services & Consulting offers:

Work Environment
SAP employees are enabled to do their best work through a hybrid work model that combines office and remote work according to country-specific guidelines.
In general, SAP's hybrid setup consists of:
- Three days per week in the office, on-site with customers, or at partner locations.
- Remaining time working remotely.
Program Travel Requirements
The program includes a practical and immersive learning experience that will likely require participants to spend approximately two weeks in San Ramon, California, during one planned trip.
This experience is designed to provide:
- Hands-on learning opportunities
- Networking with peers and leaders
- Exposure to SAP's broader ecosystem
