We are seeking to recruit an Operation Supervisor, Day Shift on a full-time, ongoing basis.

About the role

As an Operation Supervisor, you will ensure our safety, quality, service, and productivity goals are met through effective coordination of warehouse operations with an engaged and empowered team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Effectively resourcing and managing workflow in your area
• Meeting service levels and productivity targets
• Ensuring all safe work policies, procedures, and standards are in place and followed by all team members
• Promoting an environment of continuous improvement in operations
• Managing the performance and development of your team

What experience/skills do I have?

This is a great opportunity for an individual to lead a large and diverse team. You will be hands on, agile, can handle ambiguity and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team in a busy work environment.

To be successful in the role, you will have the following:

• Hold a minimum year 12 education standard and a qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain or other related field – is desirable.
• Have at least 3-5 years' experience in a similar/related role (Operations, Logistics or Warehousing)
• Expertise leading and overseeing a team
• Knowledge and experience in the use of warehouse management systems
• Experience with both automated and manual picking processes
• Knowledge of Lean principles and methods
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to influence and facilitate change
• Strong analytically and comfortable using Excel
