Hello Future Private Banker Analyst,

Welcome to FNB, where we believe help is at the heart of human greatness. Our vision is to be a great business helping to create a better world.

As part of our talent team, you will be surrounded by unique talents, diverse minds, and an adaptable environment that lives up to the promise of staying curious. Now’s the time to imagine your potential in a team where experts come together to ignite meaningful change.

This role forms part of the Premium Banking team based in Windhoek and will support the Platinum, Private Clients, and Private Wealth segments across the Windhoek Premium environment, including Windhoek branch and Maerua Mall. The successful candidate will operate within a dynamic and high-performance environment, supporting affluent and high-value clients with their day-to-day banking, lending, operational, and servicing requirements while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

In addition to traditional Private Banker Analyst responsibilities, the role will also support selected national Premium initiatives and responsibilities across one or more of the three Premium sub-segments. These responsibilities may include growth and acquisition support initiatives, client engagement activities, KYC remediation and compliance-related requirements, inactive account management, portfolio maintenance activities, and other strategic or operational support functions aligned to the Premium growth structure.

The role requires a highly professional, service-driven, and adaptable individual who is passionate about customers and relationship management, with the ability to support multiple Premium sub-segments and assist with walk-in client servicing requirements as and when required.

In addition to portfolio support responsibilities, the successful candidate will also form part of the broader Premium growth and operational support structure and may be required to assist with various ongoing responsibilities and strategic initiatives within the Premium Banking environment.

Are you someone who can:

  • Deliver exceptional service experiences that exceed client expectations through proactive, innovative, and client-centric solutions?
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for customers, relationship management, and highly personalised service delivery?
  • Assist Platinum, Private Clients, and Private Wealth customers with professionalism, efficiency, and strong attention to detail?
  • Support walk-in client servicing requirements within Windhoek Branch, Maerua Mall, and the broader Premium environment as and when required?
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with affluent and high-value clients while ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times?
  • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and maximise cross-sell opportunities through specialist advisory areas such as Wealth Management, Fiduciary, Lending, and Portfolio Management?
  • Assist with the coordination and management of client onboarding, account maintenance, lending processes, securities, and operational requirements?
  • Ensure efficient turnaround times, strong follow-through, and exceptional attention to detail across all client interactions?
  • Compile reports, track portfolio requirements, and support informed business decision-making?
  • Operate effectively within governance, legislative, audit, and compliance requirements while adhering to all relevant policies and procedures?
  • Work independently while supporting a high-performing Premium Banking environment with professionalism and accountability?
  • Adapt quickly within a fast-paced environment while supporting multiple stakeholders, portfolios, and client requirements?
  • Support national growth, client engagement, KYC remediation, inactive account management, and portfolio maintenance initiatives across one or more Premium sub-segments as required?
  • Assist with strategic and operational responsibilities aligned to the broader Premium growth and support structure?

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

  • Have a Grade 12 certificate (25 points minimum). An appropriate Business Qualification, Commerce Degree, or Banking-related qualification will be an added advantage
  • Possess 3 to 5 years’ experience within Private Banking, Relationship Banking, Wealth Management support, Business Banking, Credit, or a similar financial services environment
  • Have strong administrative, operational, and relationship management capability
  • Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage confidential client information
  • Have strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrate a strong customer-centric mindset and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Possess sound knowledge of banking processes, lending, risk, and compliance requirements
  • Be adaptable and comfortable working across multiple Premium sub-segments and servicing environments
  • A valid driver’s license and own transport will be an advantage

You will have access to:

  • Opportunities to Innovate
  • Exposure to a sophisticated Premium and Private Banking environment
