Associate Product Owner

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the kickoff of projects by supporting senior team members in understanding customer problem statements and helping to propose solutions.
• Support the management of the product backlog by assisting in the breakdown of requirements into actionable tasks under the guidance of senior team members.
• Participate in Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective) to gain hands-on experience in agile project management.
• Engage with stakeholders, including customers and internal teams, to gather feedback and ensure clear communication, with the guidance of a mentor.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by actively participating in team retrospectives and feedback sessions.
• Learn to track and communicate project progress and performance using basic metrics and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with the sales team to contribute to project proposals, including helping to draft feature lists and understanding project scope.
• Foster collaboration and effective communication between the development team and stakeholders by assisting in coordination efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Computer Science.
• Familiarity with project management principles, especially in the context of software projects.
• Basic knowledge of project management tools and UI/UX principles 

Nice to have:

• Basic understanding of building web/mobile products
• Awareness of UI/UX, frontend, backend, APIs, data, CI/CD
• Understanding of product lifecycle (plan, build, test, release)
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Clear and simple communication skills
• Interest in users, business problems, and outcomes
• Comfortable using AI tools for work and improvement
• Eagerness to learn and take ownership
• Basic coding ability preferred
