The Front of House Supervisor supports daily service operations by ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and well-coordinated guest experience. This role assists in leading the service team, upholding hospitality standards, and maintaining an organized and efficient front-of-house environment. Contributes to a positive team culture while ensuring consistency in service execution and guest satisfaction.

What you’ll do:
The Brass Tacks
Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and welcoming service
Lead and support hosts, servers, bartenders, and support staff with strong floor presence
Uphold service standards that reflect an elevated yet approachable dining and guest experience
Monitor guest satisfaction, addressing feedback or concerns promptly and professionally
Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state laws, including ID verification and service standards
Train and coach team members on food, beverage, and alcohol knowledge, including upselling techniques
Collaborate closely with the kitchen to ensure accurate, timely food and beverage delivery
Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and labor management
Support inventory management, including beer, wine, and spirits, and assist with ordering as needed
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of dining room and service areas
Assist with hiring efforts, including interviewing, onboarding, and supporting team member selection
Contribute to a positive, team-focused culture that prioritizes hospitality and accountability
Other duties as assigned by leadership
The Nitty Gritty
2–4 years of front-of-house experience in a high-volume restaurant environment, with prior supervisory experience preferred
Strong understanding of hospitality service standards in an elevated yet approachable dining setting
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices and applicable state regulations
Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse service team
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
