About Bedford
The creator economy now includes over 200M people globally, including ~27Min the U.S. alone, and is growing rapidly. But there is still no real institution designed to teach this in a structured, sustainable way. We want to change that. We believe that while not everyone may consider themselves a creator, everyone can benefit from the skills and mindsets that drive creator success.
At Bedford, we help individuals and organizations turn expertise into visibility, trust and opportunity through mentorship, community, applied learning and AI-enabled tools. Not by consuming content, but by building systems and habits that actually work. Bedford isn’t a school you graduate from. It’s a school that runs alongside you and evolves as you do.
About the Role
As our founding Admissions and Enrollment manager, you will build and own our enrollment funnel end-to-end. This is a high-activity, high-ownership role for someone who loves talking to people, moving quickly, staying organized, and turning interest into action.
You’ll be on the front lines of Bedford’s growth engine: responding to prospective learners, working lead lists, running discovery calls, following up with urgency, supporting webinars and live conversion moments, and making sure every qualified lead gets a thoughtful, professional, and persuasive Bedford experience.
This is part admissions, part consultative sales, part relationship management, and part startup hustle. You’ll work closely with the Head of Growth to prioritize leads, improve conversion, tighten the admissions process, and build the playbook for how Bedford enrolls future cohorts.
Your mission is simple: help the right learners say yes to Bedford.
As the Admissions and Enrollment Manager you will...
Own day-to-day lead engagement from first touch through enrollment
Respond quickly to inbound inquiries and proactively follow up with qualified prospects
Work lead lists, manage outreach tasks, and keep the pipeline moving with urgency and discipline
Run discovery and admissions calls with prospective learners
Help prospects understand Bedford’s value, program structure, expectations, and fit
Support admissions webinars, information sessions, live chat, and other conversion moments
Manage lead activity in HubSpot or a similar CRM, including notes, tasks, lifecycle stages, and next steps
Coordinate scheduling, application follow-up, contracts, payments, and enrollment logistics
Track and report on outreach activity, lead quality, application progress, conversion, and cohort yield
Represent Bedford with warmth, professionalism, confidence, and strong commercial judgment
Help build the admissions playbook as Bedford scales
Who You Are
You have 2+ years of experience in admissions, enrollment, inside sales, business development, customer-facing growth, or consultative sales.
You are energized by outreach, follow-up, calls, and the daily rhythm of moving prospects through a pipeline.
You are organized and disciplined. You know how to manage your day, prioritize leads, and make sure no strong prospect falls through the cracks.
You’re fluent in HubSpot or a similar CRM, and you understand why clean data, good notes and clear next steps matter.
You are excellent on the phone and on video. You can build trust quickly, ask sharp questions, listen well, and guide people toward a decision.
You are persuasive without being pushy. You know the goal is not just to fill seats; it is to enroll right-fit learners who will succeed at Bedford.
You are comfortable speaking with professionals across industries, including real estate agents, SMB owners, entrepreneurs, operators, and business builders.
You are curious, coachable, and excited to learn. You’ll work closely with the Head of Growth and will get exposure to funnel strategy, analytics, systems, and growth operations.
You are service-minded, detail-oriented, and able to bring a polished experience to a fast-moving startup environment.
You have a builder’s mindset and are excited to help create the enrollment function from the ground up.
You understand that Bedford is not simply selling a course. We are helping ambitious professionals build visibility, trust, consistency, and opportunity.
