Laser & Brake Operator – 2nd Shift
M-Th 3:15pm-1:45am
$21.50/hr

Your precision, attention to detail, and commitment to production schedules ensure parts are manufactured accurately and efficiently, directly impacting overall product quality and delivery performance.
What You’ll Do
As a Laser & Brake Operator, you will:
- Operate CNC laser, CNC brake, drill press, and other hand and power tools
- Read and interpret machining prints and part drawings
- Route materials through the shop to support production flow
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers to ensure accuracy
- Operate a forklift as needed to move materials
- Follow standardized work instructions to meet Lantech quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently and on time
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent (trade/vocational training is a plus)
- Experience operating CNC lasers, brakes, and drill presses in a sheet metal environment
- Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings
- Ability to read a tape measure and use dial/digital calipers
- Forklift experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to complete tasks within established timeframes
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good attendance and reliability
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and production schedules
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Desired Experience
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with shop workflow and material routing processes
