Door Monitor

Come join our staff and enjoy a position improving the lives of others. Mission Nursing Home has an opening for a Door Monitor. This unique position monitors our residents’ safety when enjoying the outdoors, front lobby, and smoking lounge. This position handles some receptionist type duties such as signing residents and their guests in and out of the facility and answering phones. Staff member will be redirecting residents calling for assistance as needed, and handles a variety of other tasks. The ideal candidate for this position has great interpersonal skills: friendly, patient, and understanding. Must be able to tolerate frequent interruptions and multiple demands. 

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Able to work weekends. Experience working with the elderly, chemical dependency, or mental health settings desired. Must be able to pass the background check based on the standards established for staff employed in a skilled nursing facility in the State of Minnesota.
