About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Intermediate QA Engineer with a strong focus on test automation to help us improve product quality, accelerate delivery, and build reliable CI/CD validation pipelines.

This role is automation-first. You will design and expand scalable automated test frameworks and reduce reliance on manual regression testing.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

🔹 Automation & Framework Development

• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI and API testing.
• Develop and maintain automated regression suites.
• Expand automation coverage sprint by sprint.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve test stability and reduce flaky tests.
• Apply best practices such as Page Object Model and reusable test components.

🔹 Quality Engineering

• Contribute to test strategy and automation roadmap.
• Review user stories and requirements for testability.
• Perform risk-based and exploratory testing where appropriate.
• Ensure automation aligns with business-critical workflows.

🔹 Collaboration

• Partner with developers to improve testability and shift-left quality practices.
• Work with DevOps to optimize automation within pipelines.
• Advocate for automation-first thinking across the team.

🔹 Continuous Improvement

• Identify manual processes suitable for automation.
• Track automation coverage and pipeline success rates.
• Explore AI-assisted test generation or maintenance where appropriate.

Technical Skills Required

Core Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in software testing.
• 2+ years of hands-on automation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript or JavaScript preferred).
• Experience automating modern web applications (SPA, APIs, authentication flows).
• Experience with API automation tools.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Git and branching strategies.
• Good understanding of test design principles and automation architecture.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing (k6, JMeter).
• Experience testing cloud/SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with Docker or containerized test environments.
• Exposure to test reporting dashboards and metrics tracking.
