What you´ll do Establishes and leverages external networks and partnerships (research/suppliers/OEM/boards/industry); communicates and meets with customers at their facilities to translate/identify new opportunities Develops and manages key innovation/application development programs and special projects; understands latest technologies and impacts to Strategic Business Units and customers and conducts competitive benchmarking studies to assess ability to win and innovation opportunities Leads bonding and gasketing recommendations, technical customer visits, internal and external demonstrations and trainings, customer trouble-shooting activities, problem solving for strategic initiatives, breakthrough technologies Conducts manufacturing excellence surveys to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities Performs hands-on activities such as surface preparation and adhesive product application (manual and robotic), bonding and gasketing testing, oversees technician laboratory experimental work and studies, and writes reports; supports the sales engineers and Key account managers during trials and troubleshooting at customer site Traveling of up to 20-50% is required for that role
