Global Sourcing and Cost Out Manager
Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Bradenton, FL (Hybrid)
Base Salary Rate: $125,804.00 - $148,005.00

About This Role
As Global Sourcing and Cost Out Manager at KGS, you will be responsible for all Supply Chain related activities from the supplier selection, component identification, ensuring supply continuity, and ensuring the program schedule is met for all New Product Introduction (NPI) projects within a given business unit. This role is also tasked with generating value, productivity, and achieving financial commitments through the execution of unmatched negotiations and VAVE initiatives across a given business unit’s NPI programs.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor product availability and identify supply risks or shortages
Drive sourcing and cost for support overall BU NPI Cost targets
Take ownership and follow-through on cost, quality, and delivery commitments for a given BU’s NPI cost targets
Coordinate with Product Mngt to identify critical SKUs per business and drive cost actions
Identify new VAVE opportunities and program manage with engineering and sourcing team
Owner of passport process for most cost reduction projects
Engage with Engineering team to ensure supplier design is cost-effective and easily sourced
Lead dual-sourcing initiatives to ensure component availability and competition
Negotiate and award contracts in support of new product launches
Aligns sourcing decisions with global commodity strategy.
Develops supply chain plans and quality management measures for new products
Work with the commodity team for supplier selection and implement sourcing decisions
Lead continuous improvement and standardization events
Executes value analysis of new product supply chain operations.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of experience in Sourcing electronics components, resins, metals in manufacturing environment.
5+ years of experience in Value engineering projects
3+ years of experience in program management
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Office, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Microsoft ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), Power BI, JDE (SAP support) systems a plus
Any Fire industry experience is greatly preferred
Electronic sourcing or RFQ experience is desired
Ability to work on complex problems in a nebulous environment
Engage with program team daily and provide solutions to potential risks

Strategic negotiator with keen ability to develop supplier relationship in support of cost reduction
Strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrating creativity and technical expertise.
Ability to influence, collaborate and work across all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
