About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) Project Officer to join the Barwon Women's & Children's Project team and contribute to one of the region's most significant healthcare infrastructure projects.

In this role, you will support the planning, procurement, delivery, commissioning and handover of furniture, fixtures and equipment across the new facility. Working closely with the Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA), consultants, suppliers, contractors and Barwon Health stakeholders, you will help ensure FF&E activities are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You will play a key role in coordinating procurement and operational commissioning activities, maintaining project schedules, registers and documentation, and supporting reporting requirements. Acting as a central point of coordination, you will assist stakeholders with enquiries, monitor project progress and help resolve FF&E-related issues to ensure a smooth transition into operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised project professional who enjoys working collaboratively, managing competing priorities and contributing to the successful delivery of a major healthcare project that will have a lasting impact on the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate FF&E procurement, delivery, installation and commissioning activities
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, registers and reporting to support project success
  • Liaise with stakeholders, suppliers and contractors to ensure timely project outcomes
  • Support operational readiness through asset tracking, relocations, training and handover

What we’re looking for

  • Relevant qualification in nursing, allied health, health management, engineering, project management or a related trade.
  • Proven ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
  • Strong organisational, administration and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
