Job Description
Hello Future Origination Head!Intengo Market is transforming the South African fixed income landscape by modernizing how debt instruments are issued, traded, settled, and managed throughout their lifecycle. We have built a fully digital ecosystem that
seamlessly connects issuers, investors, and intermediaries. Powered by our market leading workflow infrastructure, comprehensive lifecycle servicing, and advanced data intelligence, our platform enables
participants to operate with greater efficiency, precision, and insight.
Intengo is building workflow infrastructure for fixed-income markets across primary issuance, secondary trading, private credit, analytics, and lifecycle servicing. This role owns commercial origination and adoption across institutional investors and corporate issuers, with a strong bias for measurable pipeline discipline, repeatable selling motion, and workflow-led value articulation.
The mandate is execution: originate, close, expand, and build a small high-output team.
Are you someone who can:
Institutional Origination:
- Grow usage across bonds, T-bills, money market instruments and unlisted loan trading.
- Build multi-threaded relationships across trading, portfolio managers, credit, research and operations.
Corporate Origination:
- Build issuer adoption for lifecycle debt servicing and workflow administration, including automated management reporting and bespoke servicing propositions.
- Develop enterprise proposals and cross-product commercials.
Commercial Ownership:
- Own revenue outcomes across enterprise tiers and module expansion, with clear pipeline, forecasting, and close discipline.
Product-Integrated Selling:
- Sell workflows, not features, and translate client pain into a clean adoption path across Intengo’s ecosystem.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage external partners (banks, CSDPs, attorneys, facility agents) and work tightly with internal Product Strategy and Technology teams to keep roadmap grounded in client reality.
Leadership:
- Line-manage and develop client-facing team members, setting targets, cadence, and standards.
You will be the ideal candidate if you have:
- Minimum relevant degree
- 7 to 10+ years in fixed-income markets, DCM, credit, fintech, institutional sales, or adjacent enterprise selling roles.
- Strong fixed-income grounding across bonds, money market instruments, T-bills and private credit, with working understanding of settlement, book-overs, and lifecycle realities would be advantageous.
- Track record selling high-value, multi-stakeholder solutions to asset managers and/or corporates, including complex sales cycles and enterprise commercials.
- Comfort operating with measurable commercial rigour (targets, forecasting, conversion logic).
