Leads team daily operations to achieve desired levels of performance, quality, and efficiency. Supervises a professional team of Specialists focused on customer service and subject-matter expertise. Monitors and follows up on workload distribution and facilitates quality assurance observations to ensure service standards are met. Liaises with third-party vendors, managing daily escalations and identifying areas of opportunity for improvement in processes. Hires, onboards, trains, and coaches team members to encourage growth, development, and engagement. Provides ongoing training opportunities and progressive discipline as needed. Acts as a subject matter expert in the management of paid time off programs, leave of absence policies, and return-to-work clearance programs. Manages and distributes system and vendor reports for research and transaction, ensuring the team meets firm deadlines in support of payroll processing. Identifies gaps in service and process inefficiencies; recommends revised procedures and programs that streamline processes and improve service delivery. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with vendors, internal teams, and facility leaders. Provides guidance to HR Business Partners and facility leaders, interpreting and clarifying applicable policies and procedures. Analyzes case trends and reports facility or company-wide issues to senior management; makes recommendations for resolution and creates internal team processes. Monitors team compliance with HIPAA, maintaining employee privacy, confidentiality, and protection of sensitive information. Meets professional obligations through efficient work habits such as honoring work schedules, meeting deadlines, and coordinating resources effectively and timely. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Knowledge and understanding of employee benefits administration, including applicable state and federal regulations surrounding FMLA, ADA, USERRA, HIPAA, PPACA (ACA), ERISA, IRS and DOL regulations [Required]
• Ability to research and analyze data and make sound decisions [Required]
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and champion change [Required]
• Skilled in understanding and applying applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures [Required]
• Ability to communicate across multiple levels of employees effectively and professionally within and across the organization, both verbally and in writing [Required]
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and lead a diverse group of people to meet goals and objectives [Required]
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, delegate and oversee multiple projects while adhering to service-level agreements and other tight deadlines [Required]
• General proficiency in Microsoft Office [Required]
• Skilled in Excel [Required]
• Human Capital Management (HCM) experience, specifically PeopleSoft, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools [Preferred]
Education:
• Bachelor's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• OR 10+ years related experience
Work Experience:
• 1+ experience in support of leave administration or absence management [Required]
• 1+ experience supervising others or in a lead role [Required]
• 10+ related experience or bachelor's degree [Required]
• Directly related experience in a large employer setting with complex and varied absence management programs and policies [Preferred]

Pay Range:
