Employment Specialist
SUMMARY
The Employment Specialist is responsible for recruiting, screening and interviewing applicants to fill existing job openings through effective communication with appropriate department supervisors and managers
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Build relationships within the community and identify new avenues beneficial to Pendry Park City`s recruitment efforts
Spearheads all communications with potential applicants and maintains the integrity of the department at all times
Maintain open communication with hiring managers regarding available opportunities with their departments
Update and maintain accurate job descriptions
Responsible for finding creative advertising methods for all job openings; at times this will involve collaborating with the Marketing Director
Required to monitor, track and communicate daily with new applicants in the applicant tracking system
Conduct screening and transfer interviews
Manage all tasks related to job fairs and hiring events
Responsible for the administration of employment offers, interview packets and talent acquisition matters
Maintain all processes related to budgeted and approved positions throughout the resort
Conduct reference checks per our company policy
Train new managers in the applicant tracking system
Lead the Associate Engagement Activities of the hotel
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor`s Degree
1 – 3 years of experience in Human Resources
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Previous luxury hotel experience
Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, Timesaver and HRM
Working knowledge of Utah employment laws, reporting requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional work environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English
Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with people from very diverse backgrounds, cultures and within all levels of the organization
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Must possess a positive attitude
Well versed in the recruitment life cycle as it relates to Human Resources
Strong understanding of international recruiting requirements
Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft office and Internet navigation.
Use the upmost levels of confidentiality and discretion in all situations
Travel may be required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 5 hours per day. Walking and standing are required the rest of the working day. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
