Job Description
Waverley Volkswagen is seeking a qualified and motivated Automotive Technician to join our high-performing service department. This full-time, hands-on workshop role involves servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs across the Volkswagen range while maintaining the high standards expected of a globally recognised automotive brand.

What you will be doing:
- Complete scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs, and diagnostics
- Carry out vehicle inspections, warranty work, and manufacturer repairs
- Use Volkswagen diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
- Accurately record all work completed and parts used
- Work closely with the Service and Parts teams to keep jobs moving efficiently
- Support apprentices and fellow technicians where required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Follow manufacturer standards and dealership processes at all times
What you need:
- Trade qualified Automotive Technician (Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
- Previous dealership experience highly regarded
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset
- Current driver's licence
- Australian working rights
