The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking an Assistant Director, Capital Outlay Program Manager, of Capital Outlay Projects within the Capital Outlay & Facility Management Division, located in Richmond, VA. In this senior leadership role, you will direct all building construction, project management, and permitting activities for the agency, providing oversight and strategic direction to Capital Outlay Project Managers across the Commonwealth. You will establish and maintain consistent project management practices, ensure regulatory and permitting compliance, and guide the successful delivery of capital projects on scope, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate is an experienced construction or facilities leader with a track record of program-level oversight, team development, and continuous improvement.
