We are seeking a talented individual to join our Specialty Operations team supporting our Energy and Power Brokers at Marsh. This role will be based in Brisbane, QLD office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Energy and Power team is a dynamic global team (700 colleagues across Marsh globally) that advises companies and industry in relation to the energy, power, and renewable energy sectors. As a Client Services Specialist you will report directly into the Specialty Operations team leader, but day-to-day work will be predominantly with the Energy and Power brokers in Brisbane and across the country.
We will count on you to:
- Consistently use the required IT Applications to maintain compliance, accuracy, and workload, contributing to resource allocation and process improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate production/processing of client transactions including invoices, policy accounting documentation, quotation and placing slips, premium and adjustment calculations, and documentation for Pre-Renewal and Broking meetings.
- Draft policy wordings and endorsements.
- Support the achievement of high levels of client satisfaction through effective administrative support to Account Brokers.
- Support effective working relationships with clients and insurers as required by the Account Brokers.
- Ensure that accurate up-to-date records on all clients are maintained at all times.
- Possess a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance which the Company offers to its clients.
- Possess a thorough working knowledge of relevant insurance legislation including the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act, Insurance Contracts Act, Fire Services Levy, Stamp Duties, Worker's Compensation, and other relevant legislation.
- Acquire and maintain an awareness of the client's business and insurance needs, noting all briefing information provided by senior servicing and broking managers.
- Develop and maintain a basic understanding of the core aspects of relevant insurance and related legislation.

- Strong administration and organizational skills.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and a fast learner of other computerized systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines through effective time management skills.
- Motivated self-starter focused on achieving results and able to work autonomously as well as be a team player.
