Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team. Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment and diesel engines

- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical problems efficiently

- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities

- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules

- Order and manage parts and supplies necessary for repairs and maintenance

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic or similar role

- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, EPA) preferred

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work in various weather conditions
