We are presently accepting applications for the following position. This position requires proper NJ certification.
TEACHER OF STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES (MIDDLE SCHOOL)
QUALIFICATIONS:
NJ Certificate: Instructional (K-12) (Mathematics or English, preferred)
OR Teacher of Elementary Schools (K-6) w/ Middle School Subject Specialization in Mathematics or English
Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement, required
- Familiar with NJ Student Learning Standards
- Strong instructional background
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with at-risk students
- Experience working with developmentally disabled students
- Experience working with data collection systems
- Knowledge of curriculum modifications
- Experience working with middle school students, preferred
- Ability to differentiate instruction and implement evidence-based interventions to meet diverse student needs
Experience collaborating with general education teachers, related services providers, and administrators
Salary range: $64,000 - $117,380 (click on the following link for the full salary schedule: Fair Lawn Education Association)
