Job Description
JOB PURPOSE: To clean and maintain the flooring throughout the hotel, in accordance with Omni Standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Operate and maintain Misc. floor care equipment.
Ensure all public space areas, furniture, and floors are cleaned and well maintained.
Shampoo and spot clean all hotel carpeted / furniture areas.
Shampoo lobby and public area carpets / furniture.
Shampoo all guestroom and hallway carpets / furniture
Reporting all damages to carpeted / furniture areas.
Strip and wax floors as needed
Polish floors as needed
Responsible for rotation of throw rugs and floor mats throughout the property.
Proper documentation of scheduled cleaning cycles is important.
Any cleaning projects assigned by the leaders of the department
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, specifically weekends and holidays.
Previous housekeeping experience preferred (hotel preferred, although other environmental services positions will be considered).
Strong attention to detail required.
Good communication, time management, follow-through, and customer services skills are required.
Must be able to work around a variety of chemicals and be able to respond to hazardous situations
ENVIRONMENT & POSITION ANALYSIS:
Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance. Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion.
