- Practices first call resolution to help health care providers and patients with their pharmacy needs; answering questions and requests.
- Phone support- Communicates with patients and physician office staff to resolve issues, coordinate medication deliveries, collect co-payments, answer questions, triage calls to appropriate departments as needed. Inbound calls should be handled using first call resolution customer service practices.
- Understand unique attributes and business rules specific to Manufacturer programs that participate with Concierge Services
- Perform duties as assigned by Sr Mgr, Ops Processes & Concierge Service specific to needs of manufacturer relationship. This could include but not limited to: verifying on label status, offering HUB enrollment opportunities, researching pending patients for updates etc.
- Performs activities related to the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal laws and REMS programs.
- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and compliance with professional practice and patient confidentiality laws.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed and other duties as assigned.
- Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
- Required: High School Diploma or GED, licensed/registered Oncology Concierge Technician or as required by state law, Previous Experience in Pharmacy
- Desired: Certified Oncology Concierge Technician (PTCB), specialty pharmacy experience
- Required: 1+ years pharmacy experience
- Desired: 3+ years pharmacy experience
- Required: Pharmacy or healthcare-related knowledge, knowledge of pharmacy terminology including sig codes, and Roman numerals, brand/generic names of medication, basic math and analytical skills, Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills.
- Desired: Specialty pharmacy experience
- Required: Registration with Board of Pharmacy as required by state law
- Desired: Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB)
- Required: Independent worker, good interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to work independently, work efficiently to meet deadlines and be flexible, detail-oriented, great time- management skills
