Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 / year
Description
The Strategic Account Executive will own account strategy and revenue expansion within their portfolio. This individual will serve as a primary face of Nuvitek within assigned agencies and must be highly credible with senior government leaders.
This role is ideal for a seasoned federal growth professional who combines strategic thinking, strong relationship instincts, and disciplined execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year account growth strategies for assigned federal agencies
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities aligned to agency priorities
- Expand existing programs and drive follow-on work
- Maintain deep understanding of agency mission, leadership, budget cycles, and procurement landscape
- Continuously assess competitive positioning and whitespace opportunities
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders
- Engage program leaders, contracting officers, and key influencers
- Represent Nuvitek in agency meetings, industry engagements, and strategic discussions
- Position Nuvitek as a long-term mission partner
- Drive pipeline creation and revenue growth within assigned accounts
- Maintain disciplined CRM documentation and forecasting
- Ensure opportunities are properly qualified and strategically aligned
- Collaborate with growth and capture teams to align strategy and execution
- Provide account insights and competitive intelligence to growth leadership
- Help shape messaging and positioning within assigned agencies
- Advocate internally for account priorities and customer needs
- Contribute to overall growth strategy across the organization
Qualifications
- 7–12+ years of experience in federal business development, account management, or strategic growth
- Demonstrated success growing revenue within specific federal agencies
- Established federal relationships strongly preferred
- Strong executive presence and ability to engage senior government leaders
- Experience navigating federal procurement cycles and agency budgeting processes
- Proven ability to build and execute account growth strategies
- CRM discipline and forecasting experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
