MAIN DUTIES:
A Server in WATR Restaurant works effectively as part of the service team of the Restaurant/Bar. The Restaurant Server is primarily responsible, but not limited to, fulfilling all guest’s service needs according to 1 Hotel standards.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Maintains a working knowledge of full food and drink menu while making recommendations
Follow high standards of food product, sanitation, storage, and handling procedures
Observe guests’ dining experience to confirm satisfaction, responding promptly to any requests
Provides guest check promptly and returns receipt promptly
Keeps all service and table areas clean, organized, and stocked
Willingness to assists busser or fellow servers in clearing and resetting tables when needed
Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service to all guests inclusive of eye contact respectable conversation and smiling
Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials
Follow and adhere to all standards set forth by federal and state guidelines
Have knowledge of state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcohol
Perform other related activities as assigned by management
Guarantee neat and quality service
Participate in daily shift meetings
Adhere to strict uniform & grooming standards
Follow company cash handling and payment tendering procedures with care
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards with self and colleagues.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Prior serving experience
Are organized and proficient at multitasking
Are a reliable team player willing to learn and adapt to new situations
Strong communication and customer service skills
Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Proficient in verbal and written English communication
Able to stand for long periods of time
Food Handling certification (can be obtained during employment)
Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel
