THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE 
Banco Santander is looking for a Corporate Banker – Large Corporates 
Lead client coverage and execution for Large Corporate clients, combining strong relationship management with the ability to structure and deliver complex financing solutions. This role requires a hands-on approach to deal execution, solid credit understanding, and the ability to navigate internal processes efficiently.


We’re evolving how we serve our corporate clients through disciplined execution, collaboration, and a strong focus on delivering results. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:


• Own and develop relationships with Large Corporate clients, acting as a trusted partner and understanding their strategic and financing needs.
• Drive the execution of complex transactions, including syndicated loans, bilateral facilities, and structured finance solutions.
• Coordinate end-to-end deal execution across product specialists, risk, legal, and other internal stakeholders.
• Lead internal processes, ensuring high-quality materials and alignment with risk frameworks and governance standards.
• Evaluate transaction economics, including profitability and capital consumption, to support decision-making.
• Manage multiple transactions simultaneously, maintaining control over timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Identify and originate opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand product penetration.
• Work seamlessly across geographies and functions

Professional Experience  


•    6–8 years of experience in corporate banking, with a proven track record managing relationships with Large Corporate clients. (Required)

•    Demonstrated experience in structuring and executing complex financial transactions (e.g., syndicated loans, project finance, structured lending), with strong technical and analytical capabilities. (Required)

•    Experience working in cross-functional teams across multiple geographies, coordinating with product specialists, risk, legal, and other stakeholders.

Education. (Required)
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. (Required)
•    Master’s degree in Finance, Corporate Finance, or related disciplines (Preferred)
•    Fluency in English and Spanish is (required); additional languages such as French,  German or Portuguese are (Preferred)

Soft Skills 


•    Strong execution mindset and results-oriented approach 
•    Proactive attitude with strong ownership and accountability
•    Ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and functions 
•    Excellent coordination and collaboration skills
•    Solid knowledge of corporate banking products (e.g., syndicated loans, bilateral facilities, structured finance)
•    Familiarity with internal credit approval processes and risk frameworks
and ability to assess profitability and capital consumption
