Accounts Payable Specialist (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for a passionate Accounts Payable Specialist for a Maternity Leave Cover to join the Administration Team located in Venice (VE).

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform the bookkeeping and general ledger registration of vendor invoices for the assigned business areas, ensuring accurate cost allocation.
• Record invoices and receipts related to Headquarters Rent and corporate housing, managing the accurate entry of prepaid expenses (risconti attivi) to ensure proper matching with the correct accounting period.
• Manage the general ledger entries and accounting data entry of invoices relating to the assigned international/foreign group companies.
• Issue intercompany invoices for cost recharging activities across the group entities.
• Handle and execute urgent corporate payment procedures in accordance with internal deadlines.
• Perform regular reconciliation of Airplus account statements and manually post accounting entries for financial movements not processed by automated systems.
• Prepare monthly Excel reports required for Intrastat declarations, including the identification and assignment of the correct commodity codes (codici di nomenclatura) for the invoices under your direct responsibility.
• Manage the corporate petty cash fund and ensure the timely and accurate accounting registration of all cash-out movements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in accounts payable, general ledger accounting, or a similar corporate accounting role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & SAP (formulas, data sorting, and reporting functions).
• Strong analytical skills, high level of accuracy, and excellent organizational aptitude.

For this role, the estimated gross annual salary range is €27,000 [Min] - €30,000 [Max], under the CCNL Abbigliamento, Confezioni – Industria/SMI, Level 4. We value your unique journey; your final compensation will be evaluated based on your skills, experience, and potential to grow with us.
