Job Description

Working Location: Kai Tak, Hong Kong

Employment Duration: 6 months 

 

The appointee will join the Compliance & Employee Relations team on a 6-month contract, supporting key employee relations, HR compliance, and staff engagement activities during a defined period, as follows: 

  • Provide support on employee relations and HR compliance matters, including disciplinary cases, grievances, investigations, and case documentation, under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Support the implementation and review of HR policies and practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating staff engagement initiatives and events (e.g. town halls, briefings, wellness activities), ensuring smooth execution and effective communication.
  • Support post-event follow-up, including feedback collection and evaluation to enhance future engagement activities.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to ensure smooth execution of people processes and initiatives.
  • Provide support in compliance checks and reporting activities.
  • Assist in ongoing HR or cross-functional projects, particularly where employee relations or compliance input is required.
  • Undertake ad hoc assignments to support team priorities during the contract period.

 

Requirements:

  • A recognized university degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, or related disciplines.
  • At least 6 years of HR experience, with solid exposure to HR business partnering; experience in employee relations and/or compliance-related work is preferred.
  • Basic working knowledge of Hong Kong employment legislation and HR practices.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently within a defined scope.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written Chinese and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and HR systems (e.g. Oracle or equivalent), with ability to support data and reporting needs.

 

Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Senior Human Resources Associate.
