What you’ll do:

This role is a key commercial finance business partner to the PDSS sales organization.
Strong business acumen, logical thinking, and communication skills are required to translate financial insights into clear actions for sales and management, while ensuring governance, data integrity, and forecast quality.This role serves as a proactive finance partner to the commercial team, integrating business performance management, commercial governance, and trading ledger ownership. The position is responsible for driving insightful reporting, improving decision-making quality, ensuring compliance, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. Strong ownership, analytical capability, and system proficiency are key to success in this role.


1. Commercial Performance Management & Business Partnering
• Act as a trusted finance partner to sales leaders, supporting commercial decision-making with strong business insight
• Own sales and orders performance analysis (Plan / Forecast / Actual) and translate numbers into clear commercial actions
• Challenge sales assumptions and forecasts using facts, logic, and scenario analysis
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities on revenue, margin, pricing, and mix
• Drive forecast discipline and accountability with the sales team

2. Pricing, Quotation & Commercial Governance
• Support pricing strategy, quotation (LOA), and bidding approvals with clear financial logic
• Ensure commercial compliance while balancing growth and profitability objectives
• Monitor distributor / agent performance and commercial risks
• Clearly communicate financial impact and trade-offs to sales stakeholders

3. Reporting, Forecasting & Planning
• Lead rolling forecast and annual budget from a commercial perspective, not just numbers consolidation
• Provide forward-looking analysis with clear assumptions, sensitivities, and scenarios
• Deliver concise, management-ready insights for decision forums

4. Digitalization & Data Analytics
• Drive automation and visualization (Power BI) to improve sales visibility, data quality, and decision speed

5. Trading Ledger & SAP Ownership
• Own trading ledger accuracy and reconciliation in SAP
• Support month-end closing, variance analysis, and audit requirements

6. Ad hoc

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Master’s degree is a plus
• 5–8 years of experience in FP&A or commercial finance in a multinational environment

• Experience supporting sales/commercial teams preferred

• Advanced Excel and strong financial analysis capability
• Proficiency in Power BI (or similar BI tools)
• Familiarity with SAP
• Strong data handling and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and influencing skills, able to work effectively with sales teams
• Solid business sense, able to understand commercial drivers beyond pure numbers
• Logical, structured thinker with the ability to simplify complex issues
• Proactive and resilient, willing to push back and challenge when needed
• Results-oriented mindset with strong ownership and accountability
• Able to work under pressure and handle ambiguity in a fast-moving commercial environment
