Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Maintenance Technician
Our Facilities and Security team is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to help keep our health centers safe, welcoming, and operating at their best. This is a 32-hour-a-week, benefits-eligible position that primarily works a weekday schedule, with flexibility to coordinate occasional evenings, weekends, or emergency on-call responses with the Facilities and Security Manager.
At Planned Parenthood Association of Utah, our Maintenance Technician is much more than someone who fixes things—they are a trusted problem-solver, a reliable teammate, and an essential part of the team that supports our mission every day. Your work directly impacts the experience of our patients, staff, and community by ensuring our health centers are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
If you enjoy variety in your work, take pride in finding practical solutions, and thrive in an environment where every day brings something new, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. From completing preventative maintenance and facility repairs to coordinating with vendors, supporting security operations, and responding to unexpected facility needs, you'll play a key role in keeping our organization running smoothly.
We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and resourceful—someone who can confidently manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and remain calm under pressure. This position includes travel between our health center locations throughout Utah, making flexibility and a willingness to be on the move essential.
If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact behind the scenes and want to be part of a mission-driven organization that values teamwork, service, and excellence, we'd love to hear from you.
