Position Summary
The Service Center Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operational performance, and technical conformance of the Fluke service and calibration laboratory located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role combines site leadership, people management, and technical authority as the ISO/IEC 17025 Technical Manager.
The position ensures delivery of high-quality calibration and repair services for Fluke products while maintaining full compliance with Fluke quality systems and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements, including technical competence, traceability, and measurement integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full operational leadership for the Riyadh service center, including calibration, repair, logistics, and customer support functions
- Establish site goals, KPIs, and performance metrics aligned with Fluke Global Services objectives
- Manage daily operations to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and high customer satisfaction
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain all service center personnel, including technicians, engineers, and support staff
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers requiring calibration and repair services
- Maintain adherence to ISO 9001
- Serve as the designated Technical Manager for the calibration laboratory
- Accountable for internal audits, external assessments, and accreditation activities to ISO/IEC 17025
- Ensure the use of appropriate calibration methods, procedures, and equipment in accordance with Fluke corporate quality systems and global service processes
- Ensure compliance with Fluke service procedures and global calibration standards
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline (advanced degree preferred)
- 8–12+ years of experience in calibration, metrology, or test and measurement environment
- 3–5+ years of leadership or management experience
Technical Expertise
- Demonstrated experience in ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory operations
- Strong knowledge of:
- Calibration principles and uncertainty analysis
- Electrical measurement (DC/LF, RF, temperature, pressure, etc.)
- Traceability and metrology best practices
- Hands-on experience with calibration and repair of Fluke or similar instrumentation strongly preferred
Leadership & Business Skills
- Proven ability to build and lead technical teams
- Strong organizational and operational management skills
- Experience managing audits, accreditation, and quality systems
- Ability to balance technical rigor with business and customer needs
- Drive continuous improvement (using the FBS toolset) to enhance operational performance, quality, and efficiency
Other Requirements
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills preferred
- Ability to work in a multicultural, global organization
- Experience working with the Saudi Accreditation Centre (SAAC) or similar accreditation bodies (member of ILAC) is an advantage
- Willingness to travel as required
