Senior Estimator - Jacksonville

The Senior Estimator leads the development of detailed estimates and plays a key role in preconstruction strategy. This role owns estimates from concept through GMP and supports client relationships during the preconstruction phase. Key Responsibilities: Lead preparation of conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates Develop detailed scopes and lead subcontractor bid efforts Analyze drawings and identify risk, gaps, and value engineering opportunities Lead bid leveling and scope alignment with trade partners Collaborate with operations, design teams, and clients Present estimates internally and to external stakeholders Mentor junior estimators and support team development Contribute to preconstruction strategy and scheduling Qualifications: 5–10+ years of estimating experience with a commercial GC Background in one or more of the following markets preferred: Education, Office, Historic Preservation, Adaptive Re-Use, Hospitality, or Municipal Strong understanding of construction pricing, market conditions, and trade scopes Experience with conceptual estimating and GMP development Ability to lead estimate efforts independently Strong communication and leadership skills
