Job Description
We're reimagining the way Australians live, work, and play. We own and manage some of the most recognisable and loved retail destinations across Australia.
We’re evolving our portfolio into destinations that offer a broad selection of retail, residential, and office spaces. Through our diverse portfolio, data-led decision-making, and nationwide development pipeline, we do things differently.
We are Vicinity.
Role purpose
Join a pivotal role where you’ll uplift delivery discipline and quality outcomes across our technology teams. As a hands-on enabler, you’ll embed consistent SDLC practices across the complete E2E delivery lifecycle, including fit-for-purpose UAT frameworks so our business and technology teams can deliver solutions with confidence, quality, and transparency.
You’ll partner closely with delivery leadership and engineering teams, providing insights, structure, and practical support to help teams succeed.
What you’ll be responsible for
1. Delivery Practice Uplift

Coach teams on planning, estimation, tracking, and reporting hygiene
Transition delivery from ad hoc execution to repeatable, disciplined practices
2. Jira Enablement & Delivery Visibility

Optimise boards, workflows, and structures for clarity and traceability
Leverage data to provide insights on progress, flow, capacity, and predictability
3. Quarterly Planning & Execution Cadence
Facilitate quarterly planning and ongoing execution rhythms
Translate priorities into clear epics, features, and stories
Track commitments vs outcomes and proactively surface risks and dependencies
4. Quality Assurance & UAT Enablement
Embed fit-for-purpose testing practices, with a strong focus on UAT
Establish clear UAT frameworks, entry/exit criteria, and governance
Coordinate UAT planning, execution, defect triage, and sign-off readiness
5. Reporting, Insights & Delivery Assurance
Deliver clear, actionable reporting using Jira and related tools
Identify trends, bottlenecks, and risks, and recommend improvements
Support governance forums with transparency and readiness insights
6. Risk, Dependency & Continuous Improvement
Track and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and quality concerns
Drive proactive resolution and accountability
Lead retrospectives and continuously uplift delivery flow, planning accuracy, and quality
What you’ll bring
Proven experience supporting technology delivery across projects, programs, or platform/product teams. Salesforce and finance related systems is highly desirable.
Strong expertise in Jira for planning, tracking, reporting, and dashboarding
Solid understanding of delivery planning cycles, including quarterly planning cadences
Experience coordinating or supporting testing and quality assurance, including UAT readiness
A practical, improvement-focused mindset—comfortable working in ambiguity and driving structure
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence outcomes
Why this role matters
Success in this role will be measured through improved delivery predictability, stronger planning cadence, enhanced Jira hygiene, and uplifted release quality—with clear UAT readiness and reduced defect leakage.
