
Reablement Care Assistant
Job Description
💙 What You’ll Be Doing
As a Reablement Care Assistant, you’ll:
- Support people with personal care needs while encouraging independence
- Assist with mobility and safe use of equipment
- Prompt or support with medication as needed
- Help with meal preparation while building clients’ confidence to manage independently
- Provide short-term domestic support (laundry, light cleaning, bed-making)
- Encourage and support clients with daily living tasks and community re-engagement
- Monitor progress against personalised reablement goals
- Maintain accurate records and report changes to healthcare professionals

- Compassion and motivation to help people live independently
- Good communication and observation skills
- Flexibility and resilience
- ✅ The right to work in the UK
- 🚗 A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
