Welder

The Welder performs skilled fitting, assembly, and welding operations on government rolling stock and associated components. Work involves multiple materials including aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. The Welder selects and operates appropriate welding processes—MIG, TIG, or stick—and adjusts machine settings to achieve specified weld quality in accordance with technical data and established safety and quality standards.
