Principal Engineer

Individual must have 10 years of turbo-machinery experience & preferably be knowledgeable of APUs. Position will be for a Project Engineer leading a team of individuals to carry out APU testing during various phases of development. Individual must have strong leadership skills, be a team player, able to manage budget & schedule aspects, as well as plan tasks to meet specific deliverables. 

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Aeronautical, r related discipline. 

• Minimum 8 years experience in Project Engineering, Design and/or Analysis. 

• 10 years of turbo-machinery & preferably be knowledgeable of APUs. 

• Due to Export Control restrictions, must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident of the US. 

Provides expert consultation in one or more areas for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems. 

Recognized as technical leader and resource. 

Recommends alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Responsible for all internal activities and product development. 

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. 

Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. 

Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 

Performs a variety of tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 

May report to an executive or a manager.
