
Analyst 2 – UK Payroll
Job Description
A key member of the 14‑member Finance team, this role supports the Payroll Manager and collaborates closely with HR to deliver an accurate, compliant, and efficient monthly payroll for 690+ employees. Responsibilities include end‑to‑end payroll processing, validating employee data, managing statutory payments, handling benefits that impact payroll, resolving employee queries, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The role also involves managing payroll-related submissions to HMRC, reconciling pensions and benefits, preparing year‑end payroll documents (P60s, PSA), and supporting the transition to the new payroll system (Oracle HCM). The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, good Excel skills, experience with integrated HR/payroll systems, and a solid understanding of UK tax, benefits, and deductions.
