Work location is currently in Strongsville, Ohio.  The work location will be moving to Glenwillow, Ohio later in 2026.

What You'll Do:

Responsibilities of the Business Process Analyst 1 position include but are not limited to:

  • Work as a team player to help accomplish departmental goals and objectives.
  • Act as a liaison to internal staff and vendors to assist with specification gathering, build and deployment of new functions and features of the Lottery gaming system.
  • Review and test applications, updates and changes prior to implementation.
  • Gather, review and test system requirements documents.
  • Review, verify and provide recommendations to system requirements documentation and specifications.
  • Assist in creating information technology process flows, time plans and project documentation.
  • Test and verify change requests.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for issues related to supported systems.
  • Provide support for internal issues related to supported systems.
  • Research internal and external customer inquiries and provide information as requested.
  • Report, test and provide relevant information utilizing a ticketing system including documenting all processes and steps taken to remediate issues reported.
  • Learn and use Ohio Lottery Commission applications, systems and gaming terminals to complete daily job responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties and work on special projects as directed

36 months combined work experience in any combination of the following: creating and coordinating technical and business requirements for processes, projects and procedures, working with business users and technical staff to develop strategies and leading modification or creation of new systems for implementation of information technology solutions. 

-Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems; 18 months combined work experience in any combination of the following: creating and coordinating technical and business requirements for processes, projects and procedures, working with business users and technical staff to develop strategies and leading modification or creation of new systems for implementation of information technology solutions. 

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science, information systems, or business administration; 12 months combined work experience in any combination of the following: creating and coordinating technical and business requirements for processes, projects and procedures, working with business users and technical staff to develop strategies and leading modification or creation of new systems for implementation of information technology solutions. 

-Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.

This position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime) from the Fair Labor Standards Act.
