PT - Weekday Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Guadelupe - Westminster

We are seeking a Full-time Direct Support Professionals(DSP) to provide hands on care to individuals with intellectual andother developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene,activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking andcleaning.   Somelift and transfer may be required. This position is Monday through Friday 3p-10:30p ( Working with one Woman)  Paidtrainings, including CPR/First Aid and opportunities to obtain Med Tech Certification!   DSP’sassist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productivelives by:   Assisting with participation and exploration of the community Cultivating and expanding independent living skills Assisting with development of meaningful and personalrelationships Implementing strategies to achieve individuals’ personal goals     Benefitsinclude:   Health/ Vision/ Dental/ Life insurance plans Retirement Sick and vacation time Short and long term disability plans Paid Holidays   Eligiblecandidates must have a high school degree/GED and a current driver’s licensewith less than three points on the driving record.
