The KYC Analyst is responsible for performing customer due diligence and identity verification activities to support regulatory compliance and operational risk controls. The role focuses on the review and validation of customer information and documentation, ensuring all onboarding and ongoing monitoring activities are completed accurately and within defined SLAs.
The analyst will work closely with internal stakeholders and follow established KYC, AML, and operating procedures to support a compliant and efficient customer verification process.
Responsibilities
- Perform KYC reviews and customer identity verification in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Escalate suspicious or high-risk cases to relevant teams following defined procedures.
- Ensure all cases are processed accurately and within agreed service levels and quality standards.
- Follow operational procedures, policies, and process updates consistently.
- Support ongoing monitoring and periodic review activities when required.
- Identify potential process improvements and operational inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with Team Leads, QA, Training, and support functions to maintain high operational standards.
- Participate in calibration sessions, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements and skills
- B2 English language.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to follow processes and compliance guidelines consistently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with multiple systems and tools simultaneously.
- Team player with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
- Previous experience working in an operational environment is preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment is a plus.
