Job Description

About a role: 
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sustainability Reporting Analyst to support our Sustainable Development team with the implementation and management of sustainability reporting processes across the organization. The role will work across corporate functions and operational teams to coordinate sustainability data, support project governance, and contribute to assurance and reporting processes. This role suits candidates with strong attention to detail and data accuracy, some previous experience in sustainability reporting and/or assurance, , and excellent communication and coordination skills. Knowledge of key sustainability reporting frameworks and internal controls for data governance,experience in change management and stakeholder engagement are preferred.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Support the coordination of sustainability data collection and validation across teams 
  • Support project tracking, documentation, and stakeholder reporting 
  • Support the implementation of project governance and risk management processes, and ensuring internal control requirements for ESG data are met
  • Support the coordination of internal and external assurance processes 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the sustainability reporting, supporting the establishment of company-wide systems and processes
  • Assist in project management,tracking progress and in preparing periodic status reports for the management
  • Prepare meeting minutes and documentation for senior-level project meetings
  • Support the implementation of robust project governance and risk management processes, ensuring timely escalation of issues to the relevant stakeholders
  • Support the coordination of sustainability data collection and validation across teams
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on sustainability KPIs in scope for reporting and provide timely support to internal stakeholders
  • Assist functional and segment teams in understanding reporting requirements and internal control expectations
  • Compile sustainability data from various teams for inclusion in external reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Respond to data-related queries and escalate unresolved issues as needed
  • Support the coordination of internal and external assurance processes
  • Work with the Finance, IT teams implementing sustainability data collection tools to ensure internal control requirements as defined for sustainability data are embedded

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a related field such as ESG/Sustainability Reporting, Sustainability Consulting, Compliance, Data Management or a similar role related to ESG data and reporting 
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline 
  • Prior experience working with sustainability or ESG data is essential 
  • Knowledge of internal controls for data governance would be good to have 
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy 
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and urgency 
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and adapt to new requirements 
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization 
  • Ability to escalate issues promptly and appropriately 
  • Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement 
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work across functions and geographies 
  • Fully fluent in spoken and written English 
  • Competency in an additional foreign language (e.g. French, German, Spanish, Brazilian, Portuguese) is advantageous
