Job Description
• This position responsible for leading the coffee shop outlet operation and ensures staff provides a memorable and legendary experience for all guests. Responsible for providing fast, friendly and world-class hospitality to all guests. Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.
$25.00 per hour
• Supports the Manager in all departmental initiatives related to Starbucks
• Owns the Starbucks area experience including cleanliness, customer facing signage, audio/visual components and ensures the highest level of welcoming and promptness from staff
• Assists in the development and implementation of goals and objectives for the Starbucks outlet
• Promotes customer loyalty and brand image through continually exceeding customer expectations
• Reviews scheduling and staffing levels to ensure adequate levels to accommodate guest volumes
• Inspires and motivates partner performance through specific recognition and feedback
• Leads and serves with the Green Apron behaviors; sets the shift standard and recognizes the positive actions of others
• Greets everyone at all times. Smiles and makes eye contact and verbally greets guess and co-workers from arrival to the property departure
• Prepares coffee with a comprehensive understanding of coffee blends, quality, coffee variety, roast degree and latte art
• Recites recipes from memory and flawlessly prepares all beverages
• Upsells chocolate and pastries in accordance with restaurant standards
• Ensures all equipment is in working order throughout shift in accordance with established standards
• Assists with various new hire training on product preparation, cash handling procedures and cash register policies when settling guest checks
• Responsible for stocking retail areas and maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Must be congenial and have neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene
• Must be reliable and conscientious with the ability to lead as a team
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to interact (in English) with guests, co-workers and supervisory staff
• Must be accurate and detail oriented with the ability to learn quickly
• Ability to act quickly and exercise good judgment under pressure and/or conflict situations
Minimum two years of high-volume, serving experience. Must have successfully completed Barista Training and advanced Store Training.
