Responsibilities:
Ensure product availability in stock through a seamless supply chain on assigned suppliers and product categories.
Ensure the purchase orders are placed and fulfilled.
Confirm shipments and process deliveries.
Provide documentary support for orders and deliveries.
Communicate and coordinate production and shipment priorities.
Manage and oversee multimodal delivery channels.
Develop partnerships with factories and forwarders, broadcasting the company's interests.
Contribute to the process improvement.
Hard Skills Required:
Completed higher education, preferably majoring in purchasing or logistics.
Strong knowledge and 2+ years of relevant experience in international purchasing and/or international transportation logistics (transportation company, retail, wholesale or manufacturing).
Experience of working with foreign suppliers and/or forwarders.
Good knowledge of Incoterms, purchasing and transport documentation.
Basic knowledge of supply chain fundamentals (criteria for evaluating chain reliability, difference between buffer and transit section of the chain, principles of "pull" systems).
Soft Skills Required:
Good knowledge of Excel and Google sheets, knowledge of LOOKUP function, pivot tables is required.
Language skills: Russian = fluent, English = B1+ (Intermediate and higher, primarily reading & writing skills with the help of online translators), Chinese = optional.
Ability to investigate the deviations in the work processes in their area of responsibility, resolve disputes independently or escalate them to the manager.
Basic systems thinking and analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Resourcefulness, autonomy.
