Job Description
The Associate Agronomy Advisor will coordinate farmer training, set up demonstration plots, provide extension services , and technical backstopping to Farmer Organizations (FOs), lead farmers, community extension structures, and smallholder farmers. The role will support implementation of good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA), food safety, post-harvest handling, and market-oriented production practices while strengthening farmer adoption of improved technologies and practices. The Associate Agronomy Advisor will work closely with implementing partners, agro-input and technology suppliers, nursery operators, local government extension teams, Agriterra teams, and other ecosystem actors to support farmer capacity building and extension service delivery.
