Proof Reader - II

1. Job purpose: 

To administer the DePuy Synthes ‘Source of Truth’ for Unique Device Identification (UDI) project by reviewing redlines of the initial records and ensuring compliance of the approved label changes per WI-0244.

2. Principal Accountabilities:

• Proofread redline labels to appropriate approved documentation.

• Enter information and maintain status of updates to labels per UDI project plan.

• Appropriate escalation of delayed activity to Project Manager.

3.Internal And External Relationships

• Reports directly to DePuy Synthes Labeling Project Manager 

• Completes appropriate activities per the DePuy Synthes UDI Labeling, Quality and GUDID project team.

• Maintains relationships with DePuy Synthes Labeling, Quality and GUDID project teams.

4.Qualifications And Experience

• 1-3 years’ experience in a proofreading or quality inspection role.

• Experience in label design within a regulated medical industry is preferred. 

• Basic understanding of Quality and Compliance requirements is not a requirement but is preferred. 

• Flexibility – able to adapt to Quality cycle activities and demanding timelines.

• Strong team player – will need to collaborate with Labeling, Quality and UDI team members, in addition to other cross-functional team members.

• Good written and verbal communication and the ability communicate effectively with peers and manager.

5.Special Aptitudes:

• Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office Package).

• Strong Organization Skills

• Detail oriented

• Ability to work well with others
