Route Development Manager | Sri Lanka - China

· Lead all product trade and CN - LK route development management activities.

· Guide countries on trade and route development management

· Ensure providing allocation and reservations of freight on planned linehaul required for hub and operations performance

· Ensure the development and implementation of products for various customers and products

· Lead the development of OFR, AFR, CDZ and IWS and trade and route development management plans and budgets, and the achievement of productivity targets

· Ensure, that customer and shipping company requirements and service, cost and budgetary guidelines are met

· Direct the development and maintenance of databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries

· Build and secure business relationships with customers and shipping companies, air lines,

· Ensure the preparation of carrier performance reports and reviews

· Periodically review processes and systems to enhance service quality and alignment with company’s direction and long-term goals

· Explore alternatives to enhance services and processes to secure cost-effective and competitive products and negotiate competitive rates with shipping companies while meeting desired service specifications and transit time targets.

· Oversee recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development

• Analyze complex issues, benchmark, identify opportunities and introduce best practices for OFR, AFR trade and route development management focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
