About the Team: The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team drives TikTok's revenue growth. We are seeking a dynamic, adaptable People Partner to make an impact across a broad range of HR functions—from resolving complex employee issues to leading strategic projects. If you are a versatile problem-solver, this role offers a unique opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to our business leaders. This is a full-time, 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC).
Responsibilities
- Strategic Advising: Partner with HRBPs to support GBS leadership team, translating business priorities into actionable people strategies.
- Leadership Coaching: Guide leaders on talent assessment, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, and high-performing team dynamics.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze HR metrics (performance, attrition, and engagement) to deliver actionable recommendations to business leaders.
- Organizational Design: Provide guidance on business restructures, workforce planning, and headcount modeling.
- Employee Relations (ER): Serve as a point of contact for ER issues, conducting initial fact-finding and partnering with central ER/Legal teams on high-risk cases.
- Performance Management: Drive employee development by overseeing coaching, mentoring, and the formal performance review and calibration processes.
- Core HR Operations: Manage foundational HR processes, including internal transfers, organizational changes, and system data reporting.
- Work Model: 5 days/week in-office to foster in-person, cross-functional collaboration. Note: Work models are regularly reviewed and subject to change.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, People Partner, or Human Capital Consultant.
- Corporate experience in employee relations, performance management, leadership development, and general HR program/operations.
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting a Sales, GTM, or SMB client group in the tech industry.
- Successful track record of designing and implementing people programs from the ground up.
- Demonstrated ability to autonomously manage multiple projects concurrently, with strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- Experience partnering with regional and international stakeholders and colleagues to drive global initiatives.
